Introducing the Easy Peasy Cooking School!
Easy Peasy Cooking School is a mobile afterschool cooking program designed to introduce children to cooking and baking techniques that help them feel comfortable and confident in the kitchen. Kids not only learn how to cook, but also how to work both cooperatively and independently. And while the focus is having fun, we add a dash of discussion on kitchen safety and sanitation and nutrition for good measure.
Each session lasts 6-weeks with the exception of Session 3. A six-week session is $150, and the four-week Session 3 is $125. A modified session of four weeks for other sessions is available for $100. Rates quoted are per student, per session. Typically the minimum students needed for a class to run is 6, and the maximum is 12. Each class lasts for 75 minutes.
Preschool Classes: We visit preschools too! Classes are modified to last only 45 minutes, and covers one recipe. The four-week session is $60 and the six-week session is $90
Classes are arranged through the school as an afterschool program. If you would like to see Easy Peasy Cooking Classes at your school, please contact your school’s principal first, and Mindy Wright @sonic.net, so we can contact your school’s principal to answer any questions he or she may have. If we do organize a program with your school thanks to your referral, your child will receive a special gift from Patacake Parties.
